Saturday Night
It is only 9 p.m. and Mama is already snoring. This is a record for the week and I sure am thankful. Tonight Mama was able to lay down and be quiet and go off to sleep without a pill. This is a big improvement over the past few nights when she fretted and worried about being at home and not wanting to go back to the hospital. I pray those nights are over. Let's all pray that Mama will have restful nights BEGINNING TONIGHT! God has brought us so far that this will be icing on the cake.
Today Mama went to the kitchen and cut up biscuits for dumplings with Rachel. Then she put two cookies and a drink on her rolling walker and went back to her chair. She rode her bike twice today for 10 minutes each time. She helped me do a craft and colored, worked puzzles, and spotted the deer before anyone else. She enjoyed a visit from Alan and Carla. Her sense of humor is back and we laughed a lot. It sure is a blessing to have a day like this. What a difference one week has made! Praise God!
